Pythagoras
of Samos

He heard numbers singing and followed the tune. Pythagoras (c. 570–495 BCE) wasn’t just the triangle guy — he was a philosophical enigma wrapped in silence, sacred ratios, and maybe a reincarnated soul or two. Math, music, the cosmos, even beans: nothing escaped his web of meaning. His followers lived by numbers and swore by secrets. Legend? Probably. Genius? Definitely. Whatever else he was, Pythagoras made numbers feel like magic.
